I woke up this afternoon and its really funny when my aunt told me that someones lookin for me and said "uhmmm anjan po si erik? paki sabi po advance happy birthday baka po hindi po ako makapunta sa b-day nya." I really appriciate the greeting though he/she didnt know that my bday was yesterday.. but hey!!! Kung sino ka man THANK YOU!!! (its still 'May' so....) hahaha. For now im waiting for my girlfriends ( as in babaeng kaibigan) to come kase di sila nakapunta yesterday follow up ^^.

Hi! ^^ Welcome! I'm Erk /wave. I think you stumbled across this blog by accident ^^. But I will not blame you on that.

So here's what behind the name 'ERK'. I grew up in marikina but I was born in San Fernando, Masbate. There's a few masbatenio's in marikina far between in the province. It was a long time since I met another prom`D hehe and thats my friend 'Anoh'. Anoh is way familiar in the province proper of San Fernando, he told me everything he knows about our "prabins" the schools, the beach, bars, girls, etc.

The next ME? An Entrepreneur

Now at age 20teen /gg (sana nga 20teen). I currently have my own business Coconut farm and Coprahan in Milagros Masbate City, Fish Pond at Daet Camarines Norte, 2 Computer Cafe's (Marikina and Daet) and PC repair. And now im planning on putting up another Cafe in Valenzuela City and a Kainan Lutong Bahay here in Marikina.
Its really hard to manage business and money for an individual like me so the dedication to my business is the main reason to make it successful though its really tiring (hayzz) in the end its worth the price ^^.

ME as Sound Editor.

Now my focus is primarily on Sound Editing and Effects, I do image work as well, pero hindi yun yung something I focus on kase sobrang basic na and theres a lot of photo editing application thats why madali lang unlike sound editing you have to focus on the environment of the music/sound , listen to it many times para makita mo ang errors. Another one is make sure its perfect to listeners.

If its a motion picture dapat fit ang background music sa scene and thats a fact maniwala kayo at sa hindi hahaha!! Example a movie, it wont make you cry even you're watching a dramatic scene, as well on horror movies it wont make you scream unless theres a very good background music or sound effects that fits the scene.

I love music and sound as my as my medium.

My passion to Sound editing was actually born from my love to music. I love music and sound as my medium.
Why do I love music that much? Simple lang I LOVE MUSIC COZ IT LOVES ME BACK!.
Actually my friend Rose and her boyfriend Sonny/Cnop/Amag always nags me when we were at my car sabi nila 'erik anu ba yang pinapakingan mo obvious na ang tanda mo na lipat mo nga kadiri ka' (laughs) sasagot naman ako 'hoy asa naman kayo'.

Well when it comes to music i'm not that choosy even if its a classic music I still listen to it and feel the combination of sound. This is something I have always loved since I was a kid. One time when I was around 7 years old my mom saw me overwriting the tapes, she pokes me and said 'erik what are you doing to the cassette tapes?' and then I answered fearlessly ' I'm Recording something just listen to it when im done OK? '. At first I didn't know that she owns the tape coz I thought it was from my sisters hahaha. What is it? It is The Album of her favorite band 'The Carpenters'. My my my my! after knowing that it was hers, I never get off my room until she calls me for meal -_-.

A Gemini Guy

Gemini Guy (May 22 - June 21) The Multi-tasking Underdog

This guy can multi-task more efficiently than any other sign. He can be talking to you over YM, brushing his teeth, doing paper work and watching something in youtube… all at the same time. He always has a target person that he will want to be, or a target position of power that he will aim for, dream about and ceaselessly talk about. However, given a position of power, he will not be content until he maximizes the full potential of his position; which, with his ambitious nature, means he will never be satisfied. This guy wants you to change with him, in fact, he can’t stand permanence in life. He is also a notorious gossip who will want to know everything that’s happening. This is not to say that you cannot trust this guy. You can. However, the weird thing is, the only way that you can get him to keep a secret is when you express that you trust him 100%.

In Love: This guy will have many girl friends, not necessarily love relationships but more of friendships. If you’re the jealous type of girl, don’t enter a relationship with this guy because he really loves to make friends. Again, the paradox of trusting plays a big role. He might say to you when you’re being paranoid: “Tutal wala ka din naming tiwala sa akin, e di gawin ko na lang ung lagi mong ina-accuse sa akin. No difference naman e, wala ka din naming tiwala.” But if you don’t nag him as to where he went or what he did, he will voluntarily talk to you about the people (including girls) he met and be very open about his feelings about other people. This is because he is secure that you will not over-react and get unreasonably jealous.

My Polgara Tip: Pag may tiwala ka sa kanya, mahihiya siyang gumawa ng kalokohan. Just make sure na hindi pakitang-tao ung tiwala mo, kasi mase-sense nya na nagkukunwari ka lang. Like a guy friend of mine said to us when we were asking him to drink, “guys, I would really love to, but my GF trusts me that I will not drink tonight, so I won’t.” No amount of peer pressure will make him break his promise to his GF who trusts him completely.
